Expression Interface

A simple and efficient way of exchanging protein expression data using distributed repositories. Simple and robust enough to make accessible data from disparate resources using simple tab-separated, XML file format or JSON objects ( Which protein / peptide was identified in a given experimental setting or which proteins was identified in different experiments.)

Data Discovery Interface

COPaKB

COPaKB was first conceived in 2008 and released to the scientific community in 2009, demonstrating the longstanding commitment of the UCLA investigator team to Data Science. COPaKB is a cardiac specific knowledgebase that provides a unique resource for remote-access protein identification and relational data analysis between omics datasets and existing phenotype and biomedical knowledge.

GeneWiki

The code in this repo handles the automated updates of gene templates, and as well as the on-request article creation requests from the BioGPS plugin (http://biogps.org/genewikigenerator/). Both types of edits are made under the ProteinBoxBot Wikipedia account.

Mark2Cure

Mark2Cure is a web application concept recognition, relationship extraction and validation tool to generate annotations in fun and exploratory way to help scientific research!
Progress in biomedical science is all about incrementally building off of the work of others. Currently, it takes far too long for one scientist's work to reach all the other scientists that would benefit. Mark2Cure will make scientific communication more efficient for everyone, leading to faster discoveries and cures for disease.
